A Long Journey of the Aryans to China and Thailand, and maybe America, Millennia Ago

A striking similarity was found in the ancient ceramics and figurines across a number of archaeological Neolithic cultures between Eastern Europe, China and Thailand, and – mind boggling – North America. The ceramics in those four cultures (the Trypilla-Cucuteni in Europe, the Ban-Chiang in Thailand, the Yangshao in China, and Anasazi-Mogollon culture in North America) match each other in almost half of many (dozens) of characteristics features, such as details of the ornaments, clay ribbons, shapes, designs, images, symbols, the W sign, etc. Furthermore, a common symbol of all the four cultures was swastika, the signature of the legendary Aryans, who more than three thousand years ago came to such places as the Middle East, the Arabian Peninsula, Iranian plateau, India, Altai. It seems that they also came to live in China and Thailand. It sounds as an unbelievable story that they might have visited America as well, on a way maybe from China, thousands of your ago.

In Anatole Klyosov (Boston, USA) and Elena Mironova (Rostov-Don, Russia) study, endorsed by the Academy of DNA Genealogy (Boston-Moscow-Tsukuba), published in Advances in Anthropology (2013, vol. 3, No. 3) by Scientific Research Publishing, a large number of ceramics, most of them exposed in museums across the world, were considered, and superimposed with known migration paths of the Aryans, who were shown to be bearers of haplogroup R1a. Haplogroup in terms of DNA genealogy is a tribe, defined by a unique pattern of mutations in Y chromosome of the DNA. Those ancient migrations of the Aryans left trails of their descendants who live along those paths even now, thousands of years later. In an earlier study of Professor Klyosov, published in 2009 in Journal of Genetic Genealogy, and then in more detail in Advances in Anthropology (2012, vol. 2, No. 1) it was shown that the most ancient ancestors of the Aryans (haplogroup R1a) lived in Northern China (now ethnic communities Hui, Bonan, Dongxiang, and Salars) as long as 20 thousand years ago. From there, they migrated to Europe across Hindustan, Iranian plateau, Anatolia (now Turkey) and to the Balkans, where arrived between 8 and 10 thousand years ago. About 4600 years ago the Aryans moved to the Russian Plain, and soon after it they went south, southwest and east. Remarkably, that while moving east, they carried their ceramics and were making it using traditional motifs. That is how their crafts were eventually brought to China, closing the migration loop after 16 thousand years. How they got to America, still remains a mystery. The authors have analyzed the DNA of the current Native Americans and concluded that available data do not conflict with the hypothesis that there were some R1a bearers – unknown to us as yet—who arrived on the shores of the New World and brought with them ceramic designs and sacred symbols known in East Europe and South East Asia. This conjecture is supported to some degree by the DNA record available to us today. Where they came to America from? From China? The question is still open.
